Do not scan files Larger then:
(!) Files larger then specified size are not scanned by the Realtime scanner.

3. Why you think it is desirable:

As far as i know files larger then X are not treated as trusted, only ignored by the realtime scanner.

Agreed:

I prefer ‘Larger’ than ‘Bigger’ but that’s just me!

The description says they are treated as Trusted, but that’s not what the Help files state:

'Max file size limit - Allows you to set a maximum size (in MB) for the individual files to be scanned during on-access scanning. Files larger than the size specified here will not be scanned. (Default = 100 MB)’

I think the description should match the Help and simply state they are not scanned . . . . I assume the restriction is for performance reasons?
