DNS problem after update

CIS updated itself last night and this morning and it seems to have ■■■■■■■ up DNS. I can’t get web pages, email etc. I did a system restore and all was fine (except the Antivirus not being there). I then uninstalled CIS and installed the latest download from the site. Same problem so I did another system restore and am back to square one (with no AV) and have turned updates off.

Any idea what’s going on?

Did you tell the installer that you wanted to use SecureDNS?

Nope, am not using the secure DNS stuff. I re-installed this morning and think that blocking the windows update programs (no idea why they were blocked anyway) caused the fault.
