Is there a way to disable the annoying flash installation prompt bar that pops up on every web site wanting you to install this backdoor plugin on your system?

AFAIK there is no option to disable the ‘Flash player is required prompt’.
As a workaround the following extension blocks flash content which in turn stops the annoying notification.
