Disable malware scanner

Hi I’m not running CIS I have just the firewall, the problem is I’m sick of it trying to be more than that, how do I disable the malware scanner? It’s constantly giving me false positives and it WILL cause me to remove this firewall if there is no option to disable the malware scanner.

Hey and warm welcome to comodo forums

what you are talking about is the cloud scanner. Go CIS —> Defense+ —> Defense+ settings —> Execution Control Settings and un-mark/check the 3rd (Perform cloud based…) and the 4th (Automatically scan unrecognized…) option.

Also, you can report any false positives here and they will be fixed.

In my experience after you report all of them on your computer you won’t see many more after that (assuming you’re not continuously downloading new programs). Hopefully it works that way for you as well.
