Difference between Wildcard SSL Certificate and PositiveSSL Wildcard

Hi,

I have a few questions on Comodo SSL certificates:

  1. What is the difference between Comodo Wildcard SSL Certificate (ComodoCA Official Site | What are SSL Certificates? | 256 bit SSL Certificate from Comodo) and Comodo PositiveSSL Wildcard Certificate (https://www.namecheap.com/security/ssl-certificates/comodo/positivessl-wildcard.aspx)? Why is there such a vast difference in price ($404.95 vs $94)?

  2. Does Comodo sell the PositiveSSL Wildcard Certificate directly, rather than through a reseller? How much is it?

  3. I have a web application which does not require any financial transactions, but there are some submissions of personal data, which is why I need an SSL certificate to give my customers the assurance. I don’t need a high warranty. What is the lowest priced wildcard SSL certificate available for these needs?

Thanks.

You might want to start here, at least for the answer to 1 and 3.

Thanks. Would Comodo have an answer for (2) please?
