I upgraded my comodo antivirus 1.1 to CIS 3.5 and it seemed that all was right.
Suddenly, after rebooting it now appears a windows installer and look for a file called “destinations.msi”.
After a research in Internet it seems that this file belong to Windows Vista but my OS is Win XP Pro sp3!
This problem born just after installing CIS, I’m sure because I reformatted tha hard disk just before.
Somebody can help me?
Hi frantrix
I don’t remember this issue being raised before. So, I also searched the Net… I discovered a fair few problems relating to this MSI file with… registry cleaners & HP peripherals… impacting Vista’s Sidebar, MS Agent & various other applications (usually on install, update or uninstall). It seems to be an Windows Installer (MSI) problem. I don’t think it’s a Vista only file either, I can find references to it in W2k with respect to installer errors/problems.
Check the Windows Event logs, Windows Installer usually logs any errors it encounters.
