I think that is a good thing to try… But the problem is not that it can not be found… the problem is when applying the visual style weird stuff happens, because some incompatibility with service pack 3 of windows xp… and in order to get some compatibility you need some kind of patch… and I just let this pass…
Could you send it to me ? I’m running XP service pack 3 also, and I want to know what the problem could be

what is that dll file exactly and what does it replace? is it worth to apply that dll file? and if it could be nasty I am not so willing to apply it either…
It should be in :
%windir% / system32
Well, it should be safe normally, but I do sujest you back it up first…
Doing things withing the system32 folder is ALWAYS at your own risk !!!
