How can I tell if defense + is active? A friend told me I had to select defense + at time of installation and I can’t remember if I might have selected basic firewall. Thanks
Go to Defense+/Advanced/Defense+ Settings
If it is set on “Disabled” it is off. Set it on “Clean PC mode” and reboot. That will turn it on.

I would say put it back to your previous mode. It may have been in Safe Mode or Paranoid mode.
Remember when you had D+ in Training mode to only allow that for a short period of time. In that mode it learns everything; also the rules for malware if you caught some.
