Defense+ is blocking Samsung Easy Speedup Manager while it is marked as trusted.
I have tried to turn on ‘interprocess memory’ for this process, to no avail, it just keeps being blocked by Defense+:

What can I do to stop the blocking?

Hey and warm welcome to comodo forums!

What you see is normal behavior so you know.

SOLUTION
CIS —> Defense+ —> Computer Security Policy —> Defense+ Rules → click on Internet Security and then edit —> Use a Constom Policy —> customize —> Protection Settings —> Access Rights —> Find Interprocess Memory Accesses and click on Modify —> Allowed Memory Applications —> add —> Running process and then find the exe file.

!ot! Welkom op de forums.

Trusted applications are by default not allowed to access protected files in memory. What you are seeing is the self protection of CIS at work. When blocking memory access doesn’t interfere with the how SES functions then I suggest to leave it. Allowing memory access to CIS files is a small breach of its security.

If it interferes with SES functionality or you want the D+ logs to be freed from those alerts then you can follow Valentin’s advice.

Tnx Valentin,

this worked!
