I looked for a topic like this but was not able to find anything.
Running Comodo 5.9, Defense + on Safe mode, Windows 7 laptop. Trying to install Office Starter for the first time and kept getting pop-ups from Defense +. Examples like…
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Virtualization Handler\CVH.EXE trying to create process with winwordc.exe and another referring to office14\momm.exe
office14\winwordc.exe install hook office14\wwlibc.dll
office14\winwordc.exe install hook system32\dwmapi.dll
office14\winwordc.exe create process C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Virtualization Handler\CVHBS.EXE
There were similar pop-ups concerning excelc.exe too.
Has anyone else seen similar alerts from Defense + concerning Office Starter? If these are considered safe I will allow everything next time. This time I denied most everything especially anything that mentioned keyloggers.
