Hi I am using XP SP2 on my laptop and Avast Pro 4.8 (daily updated) along with Comodo Firewall 3.5 version for protection. Lately, I have been getting DCOM Exploit Messages from my Avast AV which seems to be blocking it and keeping me safe. But I would like to know why isn’t Comodo picking it up. What could I do to get Comodo to block it before it gets to Avast…any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

When that virus is doing something that affects the system, defense + will pop up (unless you disabled defense + or you allowed yourself the system changes)
Anyway, the point is this: an anti virus is a supplement to the hips component, so if something gets through defense + (could be a human error) than your anti virus will catch it!
So, nothing to worry about. you anti virus is working fine!
