CTM claims Truecrypt is installed

I tried installing 2.9 BETA but it falsely believes I have TrueCrypt installed, so it refused to install telling me I must uninstall TrueCrypt before I can install CTM.

But I don’t have TrueCrypt installed at all, I only have a TrueCrypt travelers mode/container, where I can click on an TrueCrypt .exe file and load a virtual TrueCrypt drive if I want, which I load sometimes.

So what gives? This is the exact error message I get:

Will this be fixed in version 3.0?
