create an alert if this rule is fired...?

I am new to Comodo firewall and i have several feature requests.

On the “network control rule” entry window wouldn’t it make more sense if the “create an alert if this rule is fired” checkbox actually created an alert pop-up box? I do like that it presently creates a log entry. Having both of those options would be a great aid to trouble-shooting and network monitoring. Perhaps the easiest way to do this is to just add the option of “Ask” to the “Action” drop-down menu which currently has only “Allow” and “Block”.

I have used the firewall for less than one day and not being able to set an “event alert” at will is the thing i miss most. So far it seems to be working well.

Hey Sticky,

Firstly welcome to the forums.

Good idea. Can you please add this to the CPF wishlist topic. This topic is monitored by Comodo to see what people want CPf to become and they actually implement the suggestions where possible.

Cheers,

Agree to this, put it in the wishlist ( https://forums.comodo.com/index.php/topic,1202.0.html ) like Ewen said.

Done.
