Crashing Firefox 3.6.8

I was testing the latest version of CVE. Installed for IE and Firefox.
I was experiencing a lot of Firefox crashes. Sending the report to Mozilla.
I just uninstall CVE and everything goes fine.
Can you say something about?

Updated Fox here and no crashes. :-TU

Probably look for an incompatible FF add-on, in that list of yours.

Bad

Any guess?
Definitively, the crashes are gone…

Hi Tech,
I think that Frogger is right despite he is Bad

I used to have even more plug-ins , but not now.
There were issues with CVE in the past & previous Fox versions but with few latest ones - VE is stable for sure

You have a lot to test.

well,… at least NoScript as it stated is out-dated …should be v2.0

The best way to start would be :
a) create new profile & then add VE only;
b ) install FOX portable - it should pick up existing VE;
c) disable VE on sys startup…it is not necessary. CVE will work anyway …
d) sure the most annoying way is - disabling all you mentioned one by one

but I am absolutely convinced at this point that it is not CVE currently that is causing issues , even those are gone after its uninstallation

as Bad said that is some Bad extension/plug-in/add-on other than VE that may Badly interfere with VE

Cheers!

p.s. do you have Froggr or LavaFrog add-ons?

  • that could be it - those are Bad! ;D

Thanks SiberLynx.
My addons are fully updated ever. I don’t know why the list has some mistakes…

No, I don’t use these extensions.
