Crash installing on xp sp2 (V 3.0.25.378 X32)

Newly installed Xp Sp2. Installed right now.
XP firewall disable or entire service firewall stopped.

  1. I start CFP_Setup_3.0.25.378_XP_Vista_x32.exe (MD5 tested OK and downloaded more times)
  2. In the windows for selecting Destination Folder, I click Browse.
  3. Await 1 second and you got a crash windows

My system Italian so is difficult to translate the correct message, however it says you got an error in Comodo Firewall Installer and the application will be closed. Clicking on “Further details”, you can see:
Appname: CFP_Setup_3.0.25.378_XP_Vista_x32.exe
AppVer: 1.0.0.1
ModName: imagehlp.dll
ModVer:5.1.2600.2180 Offset 000041f4

If found a previous version, V. 3.0.13.268_XP_Vista_X32.exe , and that has not the error.

Solved!
It is not sufficient stop Windows firewall in the control panel, nor stopping manually the service from administration tools - services.
It works using msconfig, disabling the firewall module from starting and restarting Windows.

Maybe it works also setting the service on “Disabled” in services and rebooting, but I’m not sure since that operation is equal to stop direcly from services panel.
