I have seen that MSE 2 has cpu manager and I like the concept of it. Meanwhile CIS does a scan you can play game(s), browse or just surfing without noticing slowdown. This would good for multi-core cpus (2 or more cores).

The downside can be that scans will take longer but that better than having non responsive computer (if you ask me at least)

I would rather the scanning engine just be capable of utilizing multiple cores. :slight_smile:

I was hoping for more reactions; many complain about CIS using a lot of the cpu during scans.

I also observed constant high CPU usage during scans. It would be nice if we can monitor it in realtime.
