It appears that the dreaded activation error is back again, at least in my case. I’ve tried two different activation codes, neither works.
Platform: Windows 2000 Pro, latest service pack, 512MB RAM, many gigs worth of free disk space.
Firewall version: 2.3.6.81, which I believe is the current release.
Error text: Error -2146697208 Please contact support (or words to that effect).
Setting the firewall momentarily to ‘Allow All’ did NOT help.

Unfortunately, I cannot spare the time to ■■■■■ with it at the moment. I’m on the road, and I need a functioning firewall. I will go back to either AVG or ZoneAlarm for now, and work more with Comodo once I return home.

Can you look for a file called ‘Hosts’ on your computer, open it up and see if Comodo is listed in this anywhere. If it is delete the entry for Comodo only, reboot, then try your code again.
