Counters of the main interface

W10 Famille - 21H1 - 19043.1052 / CFW : 12.2.2.8012

Hello,

In the Advanced view of the Main Interface, the number of Detected Threats is indicated at 0 (screenshot 1).
But in the FW logs there are 2 events (screenshot 2).

Can you look at this point, please. Thank you.

look at just specific events, mine showing lot of Chrome events so I don’t bother much
:P0l

Again in the Advanced view of the Main Interface, the number of Detected Threats is indicated at 0 but in the FW logs there are 7 events (screenshot).

It seems that Comodo FW really does not like protocol ARP :

Hi domo78,

Thank you for reporting, we will check and update you.

Hello,

The main interface screen provides several counters (screenshot 1).

These counters are not consistent with the detailed data (screenshot 2 & 3).

Thank you for your feedback.

Hello C.O.M.O.D.O RT

Yes, I do.

In the main interface the counter about the FW = 1 (screenshot 1)

and there is no data in the FW log for today’s date (screenshot2).

Hello C.O.M.O.D.O RT,

I notice that after each reboot the “Network intrusions” counter is at 0 even if there are events in the FW log.

Hi domo78,

we are checking on this.

The counters only represents what happens on the current windows session, so after restart they get reset to zero and when you click on the number, the log opens with the current date filter set to “Today” for “Today’s” events.

Agree. It doesn’t make any sense focusing on these counters.

I don’t agree.
The data displayed on the main interface is the user’s dashboard
so it must be consistent with the state of the laptop otherwise this data is useless.

When the “Network intrusions” counter = 1 and there is no event in the FW log (#3) is that there is a bug.

In the same way of thinking, the “Network intrusions” counter should be always at 0 when I power the laptop up. It is not the case.
