Conflict COMODO, Adobe Reader, Mozilla

I downloaded Adobe Reader from the ADOBE web site today 9/30/08
It put a link on my desk top to a web page loaded in my
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\NOS\nosget_start_manager_15229.html

In that page it had;
<embed type=“application/getplusadobe15229”
height=“1”
width=“1”
ItemID=“”

whatever all that means.
Any way when I click on this icon and attempt to load up supposedly Adobe Reader, I get a warning from Comodo.
I have no idea what it means nor how to fix it.

Attached are images of my desktop when it occurred.

BTW: It would be nice to have a simple error e-mail report that this forum!!!

I don’t know why it happens. But till someone gives you a solution. You can get adobe from download.com. You can also try foxit reader. A much better aplication that takes less ram, doesn’t boot with the system, takes less space and is faster than adobe.

I guess the dowloader app loaded by that page trigger Safesurf BO protection. It would prove useful to send Safesurf alert info to GetPlus developers

Anyway it looks like that http://www.adobe.com/go/EN_US-H-GET-READER now allow to download Adobe reader directly.
