Configuring Comodo to Ignore a Specific Directory and Prevent HIPPS Flagging

How can I add a directory containing multiple batch files to the Comodo ignore list? I don’t want to add each file individually; instead, I want Comodo to bypass scanning the folder and its files every time I execute them. Additionally, I’d like to write new batch files within this folder without having them flagged by Comodo and triggering HIPPS. While I know it’s possible to add each file and the entire directory (which adds all files individually to the Comodo file list) to the File Containment, that’s not what I’m looking for. I simply want Comodo to ignore the entire directory, along with all its contents, and allow me to execute the files within the directory without being flagged by HIPPS.

Hi Sea,

  1. Goto scan exclusion option in advanced setting.
  2. add the folder which you want to exlcude from scanning & not to get alert.
  3. then select and edit the added folder & add .bat at the end . (refer the attached pic)

so that the comodo will bypass scanning and doesn’t popup any alert to the excluded folder.

Kindly check and let us know your feedback.

I’m aware of scan exclusions, and I believe this does not work for HIPS alerts when executing a command.

Hi Sea,

We have tested in our end and found no HIPS alert for the excluded folder.
Kindly check and let us know your feedback.
