I now see why my Win Patrol ask many questions, the .427 updated added the Anti Virus program and turned it on. Asking now if I am happy with Avast 4.8 is it ok to disable the Comodo AV. Love the firewall but haven’r heard enough about the AV to have trust yet.

You can just install the Firewall & keep your Avast!
Go to Add/Remove Programs & Run the uninstaller for CIS. Then remove the AV Component by unchecking it & rebooting.
