Within Comodo Firewall how long does the component monitor stay in learning mode or is this continues ?

It appears that you have an older version of Comodo Firewall. The newest version is here. Unless your OS is very old I recommend that you update to the latest version.

You still can. You may choose or not to install the AV component.
