in my IT career i last worked with ssl cerificates in about 2001, so although i have experience its very old…

we have a virtual server running linux hosted with an external company… this server can only have 1 ip address

we want to get a multiple domain certificate, we will be running one ssl website for now but need possibilities for more

can a multiple domain certificate run on one ip address with 2 or more websites ?

A multidomain cert can have ~ 100 names on it and be run on one IP without issue.

Licensed for unlimited physical servers
This even suggests you can run the same cert on multiple servers, but I can't find any details on that. Have to verify
