Straight from the horse’s Wikipedia mouth:

I never used the Virtual Desktop but that does not mean I do not appreciate it. I would like to suggest to build it upon MsEdgeWebview2. Silverlight will more than likely have many vulnerabilities.

How secure is the containment then?

If the virtual sandbox uses Silverlight (I didn’t know that :scream:), how secure is the containment then? I’m starting to feel completely lost with Comodo. I haven’t had any security problems so far, but I’ve never used the virtual desktop; I’ve used CSS extensively. And CSS isn’t being developed anymore. So what’s left of Comodo regarding the new cyber threats? The firewall? So Comodo does have some vulnerabilities, which are mentioned in malwaretips, for example. I need to think it all through again. Security is paramount. I’ll refrain from commenting further, as I can see that laypeople don’t have a comprehensive overview.

do not exactly inspire confidence in Comodo. Does containment then somehow rely on Silverlight with its dangerous vulnerabilities?

That’s what I meant before: whether Comodo is still up to the task of addressing the new threats.

It is only Virtual Desktop that relies on Silverlight. The virtual sandboxing process does not rely on Silverlight.
