I installed Comodo 3.0.13.268 on my Vista Ultimate PC, and re-booted. I then applied the patch for 3.0.14.276 and tried to re-boot. When the Windows animation appeared, it stopped almost immediately, a BSOD briefly appeared, which I think was along the lines of IRQL_equal_or_less_than, and the machine re-booted. Eventually, after some online research on another PC, I booted from the Vista cd, clicked the ‘repair’ option, got to a command prompt, navigated to :\windows\system32\drivers and renamed inspect.sys to inspect.syx. The system then re-booted correctly.
I’m running NOD32 antivirus. Windows firewall was turned off.
