Hello,

COMODO System Cleaner 1.1.64946.38 has been released! One new feature and bug-fixing.

What was fixed

  • Improvements made for the Comodo System Cleaner driver;
  • Fixed runtime error when no network connection was present;
  • Added warning message when selecting Filter Entries in CDC;
  • Added progress message when installing COMODO livePC support;
  • Solved a particular issue concerning scanning/cleaning *.bak files.

Should I update from within the program? Or would uninstalling and reinstalling be a safer option?

What sort of improvements,
Speed and Stability?

Thank you for this software, team. I’d like to mention one thing that can be an improvement to my opinion. I used previous version xxxxx.37 and i don’t see in the release list this option was added.
So: when using Disk Cleaner->finding duplicate files it can be useful to add gui option “select all except first”, i.e. from a couple of identical files which have one name only first file is selected. This way duplicates can be deleted much easily (we press “select all except first” and then “delete”)
Without this option going manually through the list of found items can be time-consuming task and user’s mistakes are possible (deleting wrong file).

p.s.: you can look at Linux app named “FSlint” for the example how this feature can be implemented.

hello,

Haven’t installed .38 yet. Last I used was 33 or 36.

Does this last one now make scheduling of Privacy Cleaner part possible? Or is it still only the
Other 2 subparts that can be scheduled?
If so, thanks. If not, why not?
