To my knowledge, there is no other cleaner who can reverse back in time the changes. Which makes our Cleaner safest cleaner in the world

I have cleaned registry, privacy and disk without problems, without any dangerous effects. Great program. Kudos Comodo. One more excellent program from the stable of Comodo.

But, being proud user of CIS also, I wonder why CSC did not get registered in CIS, i.e. under Defense+ - Computer Security Policy, even though I was able to do the cleaning.As far as cleaning is concerned, I suppose since Comodo is mentioned as ‘trusted vendor’ Defense+ did not give me any alerts to its functioning. But, still, when CSC is able ‘clean’ why it did not show at all in ‘Computer Security Policy’ of CIS… I wonder!

CSC is not in CIS. CSC is just fully digitally signed so I guess that’s why CIS does not say anything about it.
The cleaning is done by each separate module: CPC/CRC/CDC … maybe you should check for them in CIS.

Still a proper answer you should get on CIS forum.

Well, they are both COMODO product but to be frank with you, we do not make each other favors like “could you please whitelist me” :). If you look at previous releases(BETA1 I think) you will find at “Known Issues” section something like this: “on some machines CIS might block SAFE DELETE…”. The problem was that drivers were not properly signed. Once the problem was found we fixed it.

I am sorry, but no. We didn’t had enough time to properly test it. I hope to do this by Tuesday, once with the release on the website.

I think this should be posted in the release notes under “known issues” - people may be deleting reg entries that they cannot restore.

If you use SAFE DELETE or REGISTRY PROTECTION - Yes, it's a must. It is the way this technology works.

Oh, it would have been nice if it would be like when installing security products. Afterwards it asks, reboot now or later...

We cannot allow this right now. This way you might want to clean again with SAFE DELETE, and we might get into a recursion. Anyway, this is something to think about it - stay assured we will.

Another way would be to just save 1 version (the latest of course) so you can always go back to that one...
