Hello,
Please download and install the new version manually if you had a beta version installed. There is an issue with the internal updater in the beta version.
Thank you.

Manual installation worked without problems

Main GUI window still says Beta.

All other required info is N/A.

Bad

Hello,
Please download and install the setup again, the beta logo issue has been fixed immediately after the release and the new setup has been synchronized.
Thank you.

When I installed CPM 1.3.2.21 it made file sharing nearly unusable. The internet still worked fine, but when I tried to access a network share on a computer that had CPM installed on it, it went really slowly. If I tried to access a network share from a computer that had CPM on it, it worked fine as long as the destination computer didn’t have it installed.

  • Windows 7 x64 Home Premium
  • Comodo Internet Security Premium
  • Installed Comodo Programs Manager 1.3.2.21
  • Restarted the computers, restarted the router
  • No error messages
  • No Crashes
  • Uninstalling CPM fixes the issue

Thank you, Alexandru

I’ve the same problem. After installing CMP 1.3 on two pc’s (Win7 64-bit) and one notebook (Win7 32-bit) the access to network shares was terrible slow. Uninstalling CPM 1.3 fixed the issue. CPM 1.2 works fine.

Hello,
Can you please post a memory dump? Memory dumps can be found in the ‘minidump’ subdirectory of the windows directory or directly in the windows directory with the ‘memory.dmp’ file name, in case the ‘kernel memory dump’ option was checked in ‘Advanced System Settings.’
Thank you.

Hello,
The dump file has been analyzed and it reveals that the BSOD is probably caused by CFRMD.sys driver which belongs to CSC. It could be an incompatibility problem. Does the issue reproduces every time? Try uninstalling CSC and see if it’s still reproducing with CPM installed only.
Thank you.

Hi,

I had first tried by stopping the CSC, CB and COS processes and still got a BSOD. When at home later today I shall uninstall CSC and will let you know the outcome.

Hello,
A BSOD is usually caused by a driver crash, therefore the drivers need to be stopped or uninstalled.
Thank you for your support.

Hi,

I’ve uninstalled CSC and the Blackberry Desktop Software now runs without a BSOD, but the icon for CPM has now become corrupt ( desktop shortcut ) even after an uninstall and re-install of CPM - see attached ???

Blackberry Desktop Software runs with CPM installed.
Blackberry Desktop Software runs with CSC installed.
Blackberry Desktop Software DOES NOT run with CPM & CSC installed. ???
