COMODO Programs Manager 1.0 build 27 Public Release

Languy99,

Aww Poo >:(
Yours being 32bit, me thinks something else, though possibly related may be in play?

Ditto

Is glad to hear that the idea has helped someone. For me all worked normally - service was started itself (Windows 7 32bit) and monitoring was made at once. At me personally other problem, still I do not know whence to think to begin.

  1. Windows Components - displays nothing
  2. LiveSupport the button not on a place also does not work, in the Beta by pressing it was offered to instal the application. In Summary - it at first is displayed, then disappears.
  3. What that an error with a font in RSS (the third message)

All three problems were in a beta similar somehow have passed on GA. Tried to establish a beta anew - the menu with a choice of language of the program was on my native language, instead of in English. Somebody remembers in what language there was a first window at the installation beginning? I wish to understand in what a problem, in my system it is primary or in incomplete beta removal.

Hi,

Please check if “Interactive Services Detection” in Services is started or not. CPM Service is created as an interactive service and needs this Windows service to be started in order to function properly.

If “Interactive Services Detection” is not started, this may lead to programs that can’t be monitored, because CPM Service is “blocked”.
Some systems are configured not to allow Interactive Services on the user’s computer. So, an important thing to check is whether this service is started along with CPM Service.

Thank you for your support.

It was set to manual. I’ve started it.
Try to install CPM. The installation finished successfully.
When I try to execute CPM, nothing happens.
The same error appears (https://forums.comodo.com/beta-corner-cpm/cpm-10-build-27-on-windows-7-t59499.0.html;msg417450#msg417450).

Hi,

  1. We tried to reproduce it, with no luck unfortunately. ( although the first time, normally it takes a few seconds more than usual to populate the list on win7 )
  2. This could be caused by a DPI setting other than 96 or 120. ( the interface does not support all dpi settings )
  3. This could also be caused by the DPI setting on your machine.

From what you say there seems to be a system wide setting that prohibits CPM’s access to various parts of your system.

Thank you,
Dorin.

Mine was set to manual and not started and I started it and it still says not monitored. The only thing is that in the BETA interactive services was also off and and it worked fine.

EDIT: I started the service and rebooted. It still does not work.

Same here, unfortunately
