Windows 7 x64
CIS, SuperAntiSpyware Free, Emisoft AntiMalware Free
I first installed Comodo Programs Manager (CPM). I then uninstalled many of my programs (through the normal methods). I then restarted the computer. I then reinstalled the programs after downloading the installers. I next checked CPM and found that some of them were not marked as Monitored.

The ones that were installed after installing CPM are are marked as not having been monitored are listed below:
-CDisplayEx 1.4
-Hitman Pro 3.5

Now most of the programs were marked as monitored, but these weren’t. Has anyone else had this problem? Could the problem maybe be that they weren’t uninstalled completely the fist time?

Sometimes, for an app to be completely installed, you have to start the app for some registry values to be written, but CPM doesn’t catch these post-install actions.

Similarly, it would be handy if you could use CPM to start the install, install the app, install any required patches and then tell CPM the install was completed. This way an installer package would contain the patches/upgrades/whatevers.

Deselecting “restart computer” after Repair action still reboots the system

Windows XP professional SP3, x32
When you select “Repair” at the end you get the option to “Restart Computer Now”
When you de-select this option and press Finish the system still reboots.

Causes HIGH Kernel CPU load at system startup for over 4 minutes.

Hi ,

Please specify your os version(and whether it’s x86 or x64) and the exact steps you tried and got that result (app crash). The application crashed in the installation phase or when you tried to run it? Is this the behavior encountered after you restored a CTM snapshot? If so, the problem may be caused due to some CPM’s registry key leftovers.

Thanks.

Windows 7 Professional 32 bits fully updated.

When I try to run it. The installation finished ok.

No, just after the installation. I’ve restored a CTM snapshot to get rid of CTM installation.

Leftovers? It won’t be there with CTM snapshot restoring

Hi

Is this the right place to post applications which aren’t monitored? I have installed 7-Zip 4.65 (http://www.7-zip.org) times now (after CPM installation) but doesn’t show up as monitored.

COMODO Internet Security 5.0.158836.1079 BETA is not being monitored in Virtualbox XP SP3.
While uninstalling CIS, the setup ask to close the CPM itself… Pathetic…
