Comodo Personal Firewall & UPnP

The question i want to ask is, do i only need to create two rules in “Network Monitor” to be able to see my router in Windows “Network Connections” and also would UPnP work if i created the two rules below, also would i get any network issues with these rules.

The reason i want to do this is because i don’t want any computer on my home network to be able to see or connect to my computer but i would still like UPnP to work, also would i still need to add a trusted zone with these two rules in place considering the above.

Rule 0

Action = Allow
Protocol = IP
Direction = Out
Source IP = Any
Destination IP = Router IP
IP Details = Any

Rule 1

Action = Allow
Protocol = IP
Direction = In
Source IP = Router IP
Destination IP = Any
IP Details = Any

Thanks in advance!

I would make a trusted network/zone.
Then you can just right click the shared folder and set it as private.

Well i thought i would post the “Network Monitor” rule that i created, it is working just the way i wanted ;D

With this rule i can add, remove, open and close ports in my router from the Windows “Network Connections” folder without having to log in to my router, also, in effect, this is a trusted zone with only one source and one destination IP, this should make it impossible to connect to my computer from any of the computers on my home network, also if any programs such as “Windows Live Messenger” need to open any ports in the router, they can, if i allow it.

Action = Allow
Protocol = IP
Direction = In
Source IP = Router IP
Destination IP = Computer IP
IP Details = Any
