;D
For the third time, I could not imagine that the culprit is Comodo.
Today I installed CWF on a clean system and I got these: (screen capture)
Uninstalling solved the problem.
Maybe people should stop using OS in development. Win 10 seems too freaky to me. Wouldn’t use it even for free.
That OS in development is being publicly released next week.
Either CIS works with it, or millions of users will be royally ■■■■■■ when their computers fail to operate as expected!
CIS is all set to release on 6th April that fixes all issues reported in pre-view build. We will be issuing updates to existing users as well same day.
Many thanks Umesh :-TU
To this day I was wondering what happened to my PC after I installed 1703. Now no more… Thanks
Thank you for bringing this up here.
And as soon as CIS is compatible with Version 1703 of Windows 10 I can take the upgrade and take CIS also with me
For those running a Windows 10 Inisder or Creation build use CIS 8.4 for the time being until April 6.
Could you provide a direct link to CIS 8.4 please?
My hard drive?
Filehorse has older versions for download but unfortunately they don’t have 8.4. They only go up to 8.2: Comodo Internet Security Download (2024 Latest) .
You could install that one and then update to 8.4. Or wait a couple of days for 10.1 to arrive.
I found it here> Comodo Internet Security for Windows - Download it from Uptodown for free & have CIS Pro Ver 8.4.0.5076 installed & working fine. ;D :-TU
Thank you, I didn’t know that website. I bookmarked it.
I can’t understand how CIS 8.4 is compatible with Win10 CU while CIS 10 is not… :o
Well 8.4 works on my Win10.1703 fine except an issue w/ Virtual Kiosk. Evidently CIS 10 has something in it that isn’t fully compatible w/ it while 8.4 doesn’t have what CIS 10 has that makes it compatible w/ 1703. COMODO is working on that incompatible object & will be fully ready for 1703 by April 6 or April10. And what that object is, I don’t know.
No, it doesn’t. It has the same issue with unsigned kernel drivers as first CIS10 version.
There is a bug with CIS v10 with Insider/Creator builds where menus and text UI get scrambled. This bug is fixed in internal builds. Please keep in mind that the development of Windows 10 is a moving target.
You are an active participant in this topic and oddly enough you seem to have missed:
I think you either didn’t read my post or you didn’t understand it… either way, no problem, let’s just wait for the upcoming release :-TU
I tried to say that development brings changes which may break things. That’s what has been happening.
Well this is fun to watch, reports are already popping up on various forums/blogs about missing text after updaing Windows 10, gee I wonder what’s the cause of all is…

The Update Assistant went live today. Windows 1703 Build 15063.13 is now live for anyone that wishes it.
