The File Groups called Media Players doesn’t contain PotPlayerMini64.exe form PotPlayer.
You can add it to the Media Players group yourself pending your request to have it added.
Win10 1809 auto-updater kicked in today, and the process was painless with Comodo Firewall installed (I don’t use the AV or HIPS… but I do use the firewall and auto-containment in pro-active security mode… more or less how cruelsiter1 shows her setup on youtube)
I did not appear to have to reboot to correct any post 1809 upgrade CFW issues like I saw others mention in this thread with full CIS… security dashboard was happy, all comodo systems were active/running, Windows was still activated (always good news), etc… and even after I rebooted anyway for giggles everything still looked the same and good to go.
:rocks:
Same here:
Updated to Win10 1809 Build 17763.168 w/o any problems. CIS running perferctly - Proactive with a few tweaks
Looking good :-TU
If everything is ok with Windows 10 updates and Comodo 11.0.0.6728, then why get Event log errors from Security Center (DC040780) ?
And why i get this after installing Comodo 11:
“error while” C:\WINDOWS\System32\rundll32.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\shell32.dll,SHCreateLocalServerRunDll {995C996E-D918-4a8c-A302-45719A6F4EA7} -Embedding
Is anybody else checking the events log ? I can’t believe i’m the only one with those …
I am not seeing this event, but I am seeing Security Event 5038 in MS Security auditing…
Code integrity determined that the image hash of a file is not valid. The file could be corrupt due to unauthorized modification or the invalid hash could indicate a potential disk device error.
File Name: \Device\HarddiskVolume8\Windows\System32\guard64.dll
See exactly the Event (in applications events).
Hi Pixo1,
Thanks for reporting. We are looking. Will get back to you if any details needed.
Kind Regards,

Do not use version 11 for a while. After several revisions I decided to give it another chance. I see that the recognized files that happen to be unknown follow there. How hard is it to keep a table in place?
No it has been fixed whatever unknowns you have listed are actually unrecognized or the cloud lookup failed at the time they were being checked.
Checking the apps event log more closely i see that first there is a error as the one i posted (Security Center (DC040780)) BUT after a few seconds there is also an event entry like this:
“The state COMODO Firewall is updated successfully to SECURITY_PRODUCT_STATE_ON.”
I have no idea what that means, apparently you (Comodo) do. Could be a that everything is ok ?
That’s exactly what it is . . . the Security Centre ‘settling down’ for want of a better phrase and recognizing that CIS is up and running. I can avoid those odd occurences by just waiting a few seconds before logging on
I got a new hard drive and did a clean install of Windows 10 1809 x64 with this build. It works well. I noticed with one boot a delay registering CIS with the security center but that was the only glitch.
Updated to the latest build in Win10 1809 (17763.194) . . . working perfectly. No problems at all
Hi I installed this version to my computer running Windows 7 SP1 x64 Edition and found out that the “cmdagent.exe” keeps the cpu resource at 25% and staying there non stop. When those day I was in old Comodo Firewall such as v3.x, v4.x, 5.x, I have no issue with “cmdagent.exe” for such cpu resources consumption.
Can anyone know it this a bug ??
Thanks in advance.
After coming out of sleep mode, I get that entry every second for ~10 minutes (the tray icon will blink each time as well) which then lessens to once every minute. My event log is filled with them. I’m on Windows 1607 LTSB.
In always clean install each new Windows 10 version. A week or so ago I installed the (re-released) 1809 and CIS 11.0.0.6728 and I’ve had no issues either.
The only things I have noticed in the event log are the Error HTTP read from download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/stl/authroot.stl.7z, httpCode: 404 Error Code: 0x80070002 (The system cannot find the file specified.) mentioned earlier, and the DC040780 error reported earlier.
Hello team,
Anyone has a solution to restart the cmdagent service without the need to reboot the machine ?
Greetings,
ailef.
Hello ZorKas, I noticed your firewall network rule for your VPN, but I got a lot of different local network IP that uses my VPN. I’m going to add rules for them like you did anyway, will see if it helps.
Thank you.
(I’m FR also )
Greetings,
ailef
UPDATE :
I talked too fast, i got a subnet mask on each network zone. It’s not possible to change the rules for range ip without a subnet mask.
I read some solutions for cmdagent, but about the DHCP rule, I disabled DHCP on my box. For the VPN I use DHCP mode because it’s always another network local zone used with a subnet mask.
;D
yep, that’s a good reply.
