Well, for me, same problem as with 11 and all 11 betas. Exactly the same problems as before. So back to 10 (again …)

Clean install after uninstalling 6606 and running the Comodo Uninstall to make sure

Straight forward setup - imported saved Config - Update and Scan - reboot - Installed KillSwitch after changing Hosts file

It’s been half an hour now and Security Centre happy with no warnings, Virtual Desktop working fine; everything setup well and running smoothly

Looking good so far :-TU

First impressions right after updating.

Minor bug updating from 6622. I updated from 6622 on Win 7 SP1 x64 and the logs showed old version 6622 and new version 6622 but it downloaded and installed 6632. See attached image.

CIS now registers successfully with Windows Security Center and Virtual Desktop works.

I installed Comodo 11 in my wife’s laptop (HP) and all went well. Not a single problem. So my problem, is specific for my pc/installation.

But i have nothing strange in my pc, i checked sfc commands and everything, not a single problem/error.

Also i tried to de-install 2-3 apps that could create a problem (Macrium Imaging for example) but no luck.

Very strange indeed.

Considering v10 works just fine for you, it must be CIS, hope team will resolve with you. Thank you very much for all your help with troubleshooting :-TU.

Minor bug updating from 6622. I updated from 6622 on Win 8.1 x64 and the logs showed old version 6622 and new version 6622 but it downloaded and installed 6632. See attached image.

Good day and thanks for the new BETA update! :-TU
Just wanted to inquire if BETA testers can confirm the visual unrecognized file bug is still fixed with the BETA2 release?

Yes Dustyn. So far so good.

Gone again! About 3 hours later after running normal applications, Security Centre popped up the usual warning - both Firewalls turned off and unable to turn on Comodo’s. CIS appears to be working normally - ran Diagnostics - found errors but unable to fix. Report saved if needed, but I’m going to try a re-install, then back to 6606 again if there’s still the unstable Firewall setting

Edit: 8am after re-install (after using CIS Uninstaller only this time). Everything installed normally and appears correct. Will see what happens in a few hours

Win10 1803 (17134.165)

If you can open GPO (Group Policy). open run (ctrl+r) then type gpedit.msc, then on local computer policyWindows Settingssecurity settingswindows firewall with advanced securitywindows firewall properties → on [tab] private profile & public profile, you will see firewall state, try to turn on through that.

Unfortunately, it’s the Comodo Firewall registration that bugged out. There’s no problem turning on the Defender Firewall

But so far, the latest install has been up and running for 8 hours now w/o a problem :o

glad, it works. I can’t comment on the latest update, since I’m still not on that release, and we are on different version of windows.

K 1st off all: I run the beta-beta on my test PC system diffrent HW but (almost) the same SW.
rightclick run in comodo container/scan with antivirus works both but again like in the 6606 version no autostart after reboot no trayicon in deskbar, no network regonizing , no hint to reboot after installation…
error reprttool data : https://ufile.io/89ymn

sry for my bad eng but it isnt my mother tongue… and yeah I know my denglish sux

Too good to last!!

After working flawlessly all yesterday, first boot this morning showed the black square - no CIS icon. Reboot again fixed that, but as it all settled down, the ‘Firewalls not turned’ on warning came up as before. Reboot didn’t fix it and unable to get it working correctly with all the usual means, so until the bug is remedied, going back to 6606 which works well

Win10 1803 (17134.165)

Till the widget (long boot) and the tray icon do not appear, there is no Internet access.

Hi Megaherz33,

Till the widget (long boot) and the tray icon do not appear, there is no Internet access.

Thanks for reporting. We will investigate the issue.

Kind Regards,
PremJK

Windows 10.0.17713 x64; 10.0.18204 x64;

Very strange, I can’t add blocklisted site to content filter. There is no error message and no new rule.

Hi Rexy,

We can reproduce the issue. Thanks for reporting.
