First… 8)

Congrats with the release with a nice set of fixes. :-TU

The offline installer is the same as the one from the RC (hash checked).

What again wait a week for auto updates. Laziness to do constantly clean installations.

The offline installer link need to be updated or its correct and RC is the Stable release?

good job, guys!! keep up the good work.

RC is the production version.

Please use test server IP and update to this latest version as suggested in post:

Hello, I’m using the Firewall and that’s all what I need, I don’t need antivirus and I don’t use File Rating
I did every thing trying to disable File list/Unrecognized Files but I failed?
please add an option to disable this feature completely
it still list files when HIPS is disabled and even when everything is disabled including the FW itself

May you please elaborate what you did and what you expected and what was the file in question?

Installed Comodo Firewall only with offline installer and running absolutely fine. Win 10 Pro 64 Bits (not updated to CU yet).

When any executable file get launched, Comodo list those files at
Advanced settings > File Rating > File List
I deleted this list but Comodo don’t stop adding them again when any executable launched
I disabled HIPS and tried everything to stop this behavior but I couldn’t
I don’t use “File Rating” and this is not a desierable behavior

File rating is nothing but verdict given by CIS for a given file, allowing user to see if a given file is treated Safe/Malware/Unknown by CIS and also at the same time allowing to change rating of file.

How does it bother your user experience?

No, I don’t want Comodo to remember every launched file and adding it to a database

I’m troubled having a history of my previously launched files
this uneeded feature is running all the time, a firewall don’t need such feature [I have everything disabled except for the firewall]

Excellent!
Thank you Comodo team! :-TU

Excellent. Running well and always improving. Thanks :azn:

Did you disable various settings under File Rating Settings? Did you disable Cloud lookup features? Erasing the list is not going to help you with cloud lookup enabled.

If you put the firewall to Custom Ruleset you have all the control you want.

Yep, every checkbox in “File Rating Settings” is unchecked and of course the firewall mode is “Custom Ruleset”

Did you also disable auto containment?

I think what you want is to be able to disable File List when it is disabled in all other components. Is that correct?

umesh,

I have reported this few times.
Comodo Firewall only installed, there is no detection alert for Cloud AV.
Please look into it.
