Comodo Internet Security Pro asking me to purchase it

Restart Windows in “Safe Mode” and run ciscleanuptool and follow the instructions (reboot twice etc.).
Restart Windows in “Normal Mode” and install CIS again.

Thanks. I seem to have got it sorted already. I restarted Windows 10, and ran the installer again. Not sure if this left any old residue behind, but seems to be running okay.

If something seems awry in a few days, where would I get ciscleanuptool from?

I saw that, but was concerned it seemed to be a link to an old exe on a personal Google Drive account. Is that really the latest official version?

No, it is not !
Go to page 1 of that thread and there is the version 3.2.0.82 which doesn´t work for me. It crashes ! :-TD

Any working version out there ?

COMODO_R.T is an official Comodo account. It is for Comodo employees who are active here at the forums.

More important the executables are digitally signed. Check the signature and if it checks out the file has not changed after it was published. That’s the beauty and strength of digital signatures: you know what you get is legit.

The database of sites is not literally the number of sites (there are many more of them in reality), but the number of groups of sites?
