Download Master 5.6.2 starts up after every reboot - the checkbox ‘Start with windows’ in DM disabled. Managed to disable app autorun turning off the sandbox.
GTA4 runs corrupted(flashing poligons) right after Nico leaves the flat, after a while the game closes with the message “Low video memory” and Windows proposes to shut down the app. Switching off ‘run unrecognized programs sandboxed’ cures the game.
Anti-virus false alarm on a authorizing and security program by the IP(Internet Provider), always sits in memory. If it ain’t running, the internet access is closed. The message appears after every reboot, and there’s no way to remove it. Tried to move it into my own safe files - no effect, disabled sandbox - the ssame, moved to exclusions - no way. Tried to restore from quarantined files it says the file already exists but removed it from the list - no change though.
OS : Windows 7 Ultimate x64
antivirus : avast 5.0.x latest Free
spywares : Ad-aware-8.2, MBAM, Windows Defender
COMODO Settings : only firewall
Applied to : 4.0.x.679, 4.0.x.716 Beta
I installed CIS 4.0.129536.679 on my laptop , and I realized that my laptop was lagging when I was surfing the net especially with IE 8, so I guessed that was the Beta version, so I rolled back to version 3.14.x. and all went normal, my PC regained its responsiveness.
Also it increased CPU cycles, reaching 64°C degrees, so the fan was at full throttle.
In fact now, i’m chatting (MSN) , posting this topic, and checking with Sandra Sisoft my CPU t° and it’s marking a steady 46° C degrees
OS: Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit
Comodo: Firewall (safe) antivrus (stateful) and defense+ (safe)
Other: Windows defender
Problem: When trying to start “no-ip DUC” I get an error message on both 32 and 64 bit of “Runtime error 216 0040346a”
Notes: it will run when setting up (has option to start straight away) but after it will just error as above.

Edit: Just put duc20.exe as a safe file and now it runs ok.
Immunet and comodo with firewall and defense+ in safe mode sandbox disable
With any bittorrent client (bitcomet, utorrent) the conection appears behind a firewall, if I manually allow TCP/UDP IN/OUT. the connection still appears blocked
If I disable the firewall the connection a few seconds later appears ok, not behind a firewall.
With blocked or behind a firewall I tested using this:
Changes in behavior between configurations (It’s a wrong way)
This is not very intuitive. While I understand that you want the CIS is more friendly to most lay users, these differences in behavior should become clear in the program, because after all only looking at the options that is not where they say.
Example: as in my case, was the configuration in Internet Security. The options of the Firewall said he will not automatically learn any access to any program (Custom Policy Mode), but it is just what he does. :o
If the box was checked (create rules for secure applications) that would be simple to understand, but is not.
The box should come unchecked by default in Proactive Security and checked for all other, but it is not and it does not seem to make a difference.
This is not friendly, it is completely illogical and contradictory. >:(
(1) Windows 7 Professional 64 bit PL - Polish
(2) Only CIS 4 RC
(3) I added process firefox.exe to “Program in Sandbox” as a “Limited” application. When i try to use my country letters/signs (example ęóąśłżźćń) by using rigt alt + regular letter, nothing shows up.
(4) I marked process firefox.exe as “unrestricted” instead of “limited” and it worked.
(5) -
(6) -
(7) -
I think points 5, 6, 7 don’t have anything to do with my case.
Edit:
Sandbox makes a lot of weird behavior with firefox, chrome and others. And firewall doesn’t ask for permission to programs trying to connect with onternet (custom policy mode). He asked only about AQQ communicator. When I allowed and marked to remember CIS didn’t made any rule but he don’t ask any more for permision to AQQ.
Vista Ultimate x 64 SP 2
