Could you provide more details? What update are you referring to? The regular monthly update or the feature update? If it is the feature update to what version of Windows 10 did you update?
When you say you disabled the firewall what exactly did you disable?
I am using Windows 10 Pro 2004 x64 Build 19041.572 and Comodo CIS 12.2.2.7036, running smoothly. I suspect some issues are caused by dirty Windows installations. I did a fresh Windows install earlier this year and I recommend everyone at least refresh Windows periodically, particularly if someone’s having issues.
Causation and correlation are two different things and I try not to be quick to assign blame, especially when the majority are doing just swimmingly with it.
Could you describe what happens when you say the system freezes? Do programs not start? Can you move the mouse? Can you start Task Manager? Does Windows freeze for 1 or 2 minutes before it continues?
upgraded my pc to 20h2 from 1909.959, using setup file by “MS Media Creation”, no issues till now working fine.

When programs stop responding could you try starting a new program? I want to see if it starts immediately or if it starts delayed. When it starts with delay does it start when the other programs become responsive again?
This could indicate a problem with your hard drive. Could you check your hard drive with CrystalDiskInfo tool and post a screenshot of it here? I want to see parameters 05, C5 and C6.
Could you also check the Windows Event logs and see if there are warnings about problems with reading specific sector(s) on your hard drive?
other times only some apps freezes but other apps keep responding.
When this happens could work with the programs and choose actions that you know involve hard drive action and see what happens?
The CrystalDiskInfo looks good. However it does not show C5 (Nombre de secteurs “instable”) and C6 (Nombre total d’erreurs incorrigible d’un secteur). May be because the parameter is typical for hard drives and does not exist for SSD drives. If your SSD has a tool from Toshiba check the SMART from there. If the SMART from the tool is OK then it is not your drive causing the issue.
The download does not start from the official website … :-
But I noticed that the downloads no longer start anywhere, even from this forum for the new versions even the beta one …
What happened?
