I tried to use the new build but I had a kernal stop/snap error or something like that. Windows 10 professional 32 bit version 2004 I’ve tried installing it twice and both times I’ve had to remove it via safe mode via the Comodo clearer otherwise via add/remove programs I was told there was an error and it couldn’t be uninstalled. So I’m kinda stuck at the moment. I’m using Windows defender currently.

Consider adding an IP list like in ESET. It’s difficult to add one by one. Thank!

Closing CIS from the widget using the right click menu and starting CIS will also bring back the tray icon.

Did Windows produce a full or mini dump file?

Neither. Not as far as I know anyway? I couldn’t log on as it would just crash with the same error being shown. I had to delete CIS in safe mode. Then everything worked fine. I thought I was going crazy so I downloaded CIS again only for the same thing to happen again.

Hello.

This version has problems with translation into Russian. Context menu items without translation. Also, the program itself has disadvantages of translation. Check out the screenshots.

Thanks.

P.S. There used to be a forum thread dedicated to localization issues. I can’t find her now. Where can I post a message about this problem?

P.S. On one of the forums they write that version 7036 has been updated to version 7060.

That person was either using an internal build because he or she is in contact with Comodo over a bug report or an inquisitive person who likes to poke the Comodo download server (some of our Russian members used to do that).

He writes that the CIS itself has renewed itself. But the update did not come to me, although I am from Russia.

I changed the update server to the beta server and then CIS will show a download for a newer version. This could be 7060; I haven’t tried it yet.

There are also release notes available for this beta build: http://178.255.86.194/cis/download/updates/release/cis/inis_7060/release_notes.html .

It looks like the beta is about to be officially released. 8)

new release doesn’t contain any fixes for HIPS and NVIDIA driver, sad, need to search something what work well

I have made an unofficial release topic to discuss v12.2.2.7060 beta in the beta board: First impressions of CIS v12.2.2.7060 [unofficial release topic]

Please discuss all questions, observations and remarks there. Posts about the unofficial beta in other topics will be split and merged with this topic to keep conversation in one place.

Checking back after my last post a good few weeks ago.

Did a manual overwrite-install for the version of this thread, as I had pledged, coming from 12.1.0.6914, due to lack of an automatic update. All works fine, on the latest stable Windows 10 build.

Was wondering though, I have the software setup on many PCs, across many, distant physical locations as well, and given the overarching health-related situation that goes around in the world, it feels pretty petty to make long trips only for software maintenance.

Is it prudent to bet on the possibility of an autoupdate coming live (perhaps for the next version, if not this one?), or should I definitely make a checklist to eventually go around and give all my devices a manual update at some point?
