If you have a rule to allow incoming traffic for the torrent program then the firewall will not log that traffic and report it. That being said. Are you referring to the situation where the torrent program is active or after you closed the torrent program? After you closed it you should see the incoming traffic being blocked.

News?
Blocking all inbound connections is not just normal, it’s wise. I torrent too, and have done for years as well, and I never allow incoming connections. You only need incoming connections if you run a server app on your PC.
Today i tried to uninstall that version (FW only) and go back to the previous. BUT it can’t be uninstalled. Wants to stay installed.
I had to use the Comodo cleanup tool to remove it.
So, what is with Comodo the last year or so ? Nothing but problems with the software. Should we look for something else ?
Dude i don’t know what that guy said about ME blocking incoming connections. I have custom ruleset for the firewall and that is so for 13+ years i use Comodo. I allow per casis.
So while Torrenting i saw ZERO incoming and that was WRONG. A reboot fixed it. Now switched back to the previous FW version.
Pixo1, could you test with a default profile and if the problem persists post a bug report? That would greatly help Comodo.
Hello,
I will give you a feedback on my (French) experience on this new version of CIS. I had installed this last week this version and I very often had freezes PC (at boot, on the Windows login window, during use). I first uninstall all COMODO products. Then used the executable ciscleanuptool_x64.exe. I forgot to mention that I am windows 10 64 bit 1903 patched at the last level.
Then I deleted what was not deleted in windows without fail mode. Finally I finished cleaning the PC with ccleaner.
The PC was refitting normally. I decided to reinstall the latest version of CIS. I launched the online installation and after the updates of the antivirus, COMODO asks to restart.
The first reboot lasted more than 15 minutes so that finally I have access to Windows.
I went to see in C:\ProgramData\Comodo\CisDumps to see the dumps and there was one of cavwp.exe.6904.dmp of 322 kb.
Then I decided to activate my license. When analyzing my pc there was another dump created and also the blocking of Werfault.exe (I unlocked it).
After the activation of the license, there was an update of the antivirus signatures with creation of a dump and re-blocking of Werfault.exe (I re-unlocked it).
After an hour of trouble-free use, I had again the creation of a dump of cavwp.exe.
I decided to restart to test. No more problem or dump generation.
I started an analysis on a disc containing only videos. The scan was aborted by scanning Thumbs.db|256_9367XXXXXXXXX files.
Finally to finish, it is impossible to install killswitch (right problem perhaps).
Here I have available to COMODO all the dump if it can advance the correction of this version.
Best regards

Both the crashes of cavwp.exe and KillSwitch not getting installed are known problems.
I have started using 6914 again Wednesday. I realized the freezes caused by cavwp.exe crashing would go away. I have three crash dumps created since Wednesday. I have provided one crash dump to Comodo to help fix the problem.
Has anyone tried 6914 on a Win-7 machine?
yes, system not freeze…
but conflict with crossfire (crossfire.z8games.com - br.crossfire.z8games.com) - To be more specific, anticheater identifies viruscope as cheating
Yes. Beside that online installer won’t install internet essentials in the Win 7 SP1.(And updated to latest monthly update). It behaves just the ones under 10 in the other , seem a little slower than 6882. Both of them (6914 on 7 & 10) can’t be uninstalled complete, and the official uninstaller is needed to do a clean uninstall.
Try the offline installer which only install firewall and antivirus, and them works better than what the offline installer installed.
Are you planning to fix them any time soon? ETA? This year?
in other words: When will this beta testing of v12.1.0.9614 be over? please?
I am not a Comodo Staff member; I am end user like yourself but I happen to wear a badge.
I got word from Metheni that Comodo has identified the problem with the crashes with cavwp.exe and that the developers are working on a fix for this as well as on the problem with uninstallation.
Comodo is not as talkative as it used to be but they are still working. Comodo Staff people have been connecting with members, among which moderators, by pm asking for crash logs and other information. They work more in the background rather than on the foreground.

Hi all, just installed the latest v12.1.0.6914 CIS Pro after purchasing a license for it and I’ve had nothing but trouble. Firstly I replaced Comodo Firewall (did full uninstall and rebooted a few times) with the link sent to me in the registration email - http://download.comodo.com/cis/download/installs/1000/partners/cispro_installer_138430005_b1.exe but after installation there was no icon for CIS in my system tray. The application was there and running but had a blank icon.
I then downloaded the Comodo Cleanup utility and run that removing all trace of Comodo apps from my system and rebuilt the Windows Icon and System Tray cache. Tried to login to my Comodo User Account while reinstalling CIS Pro from the above link and it seemed to be working but then would not let me register using the key provided after the website locked me out when it would not accept my password (which I have emailed about, awaiting a response), despite resetting it 3 bloody times so now I’m left with a useless app I have just purchased and the icon has disappeared again from the system tray!! This is not affecting any other application I have running, just CIS Pro. Got to admit, I’m regretting trying to support the devs by purchasing a license and breaking my system when everything was running fine before.
I’m running Windows 10 Pro x64 version 1903 build 18362.449 and I have never had this problem before or any issues with the PC prior to trying this. I used to run CIS Premium before trying out just the Firewall and Windows Defender and never had any issues.
Anyone have any ideas?
Quick update, icon appears if I enable traffic animations but I don’t want and have never used them before. Disabling them causes the icon to hang and eventually disappear (usually after a reboot)
Also when trying to activate now with the key I was supplied I get an Error 1: Unknown error occured (Access Denied) message
This is VERY BAD will you ever get a response?
To be fair I only emailed them about it today but its literally ruined my system. I’m currently in the middle of clean reinstalling Windiws to erase all trace as it left my system completely unusable. Start menu not working, multiple windows services disabled and cannot be started (Intel RST, multiple Windows Defender & security services). Total mess
