Sorry, but I don’t understand why you have to reinstall everything again and again. Before I change/install anything I make a backup of my running system and restoring all again dosn’t take me not more as 20 min.
6882 is really a stable version, and so it works on my PC without any problems.
I installed 6914, 6938, 6950 (the last was running for rather a long time without problems), and all this versions caused problems on my computer as well.
But nevertheless I will install Beta 2 again later to help to develop a stable version. I won’t rely on other users trying/installing beta versions until a stable version can be released. But at the moment I will stay with 6882 because with the start of the new year there are some business and personal matters that I have to take care of online, and a stable version is therefore importent.
Of course it can be said that it is the job of comodo staff to do their job. But until now I could rely on comodo and with 6882 still. I don’t know why it is so difficult to develop a stable version. Because comodo isn’t a simple software? Because you have more possibilities to adjust to your personal wishes? Since it is more difficult to create such a complex software with individual customization options for each PC with infinite unknown configurations and programs? And this for free with 100% protection!

I honestly don’t know what the problem was. What is certain is that I could not start windows in any way so much that I forced myself to restore windows. I assume it’s a CCE problem that after a scan requires you to reboot the system. From this moment I was no longer able to run windows as I was unable to start any mode. Unfortunately for me I didn’t have an updated backup and I lost some data. For the moment I prefer to wait for the next stable version.
Version 6882 is a very stable version. 6914 is known to be unstable with part of the users and should have been pulled by Comodo. I’m sorry this build caused so much grieve.

Why not have delivered v.6882 with which everyone is satisfied while waiting for a stable version (after debugging)?

after some absence I decided to put cis on my machine again v12.0.0.6882. the thing that I notice inmediately is that my laptop battery drains a lot quicker with cis installed , than with qihoo 360 ts , or any other security solution for that matter…is it just me or does anybody else here is also facing this?

Very few antivirus for pc products maintain a database of good files (a process called as white listing). This is process intensive and requires considerable resources. These files are allowed into the system.
TRUTH!! My friends and family are all still stuck with 6818 that does not auto-update and leaves them vulnerable to the publicly disclosed vulnerabilities by Tenable…Comodo does not seem to care.
You should always mention which version of Windows you are using. That being said you might try to disable logging and see if that improves things. I have read that Comodo does not play well with SSDs.
Why do we need CLOUD scanning and sending a file through CIS?
If this does not work periodically (apparently the server) and you need to make decisions after the notification HIPS? :-\

The pop up is for a paid version. Paid versions offer extra services for which you pay for.
The free version is still provided; it is harder to find when navigating the website but that’s another story.

Did you check what CIS process was using the resources? Knowing would help to narrow down the problem to help Comodo fix it.
The freezing problem that plagues part of the user of 6914 has been fixed in the betas.
Please post the offline installer. I always install and update the security software before connecting to the internet. It’s good habit that I have no intention of stopping.
