Comodo Internet Security 2019 v12.0.0.6882 does not start Firewall at boot

Windows asks what firewall must be started, choose Comodo and it seems to work okay
or: I ask Comodo to update, and the firewall is started and seems to work okay

The firewall is working but WDSC does not always notice it being turned on.
Is this the FORMAL answer from Comodo?

It’s just NOT GOOD, and needs attention to correct this

It’s on the road map to be fixed. And there are various topics about this problem. The communication with WSC is a bit flaky by its very nature but there are Win 10 related issues with that that are being ironed out.
WSC brings no added security. It is only a dashboard that brings together what security programs report themselves about their states. But since the communication is a bit flaky it is best to trust what CIS reports when you open the interface or look at the icon in the systray.
