Hi,

I am unable to update via CID direct as getting the attached error - setup could not be verified !. This is the same as when I tried to internally update CD on the last two releases :o

This is on a win7 Pro, 32bit machine with Symantec endpoint 14 installed and running through a websense TRITON AP-ENDPOINT web proxy server.

Congrats with the release.

Can you see what happens when you run CID as admin?

Is there a shield in the Symantec Endpoint that you think could interfere? If so try temporarily disabling them.

Hi,

It’s a local admin account and ran as administrator still no joy. Temporarily disabled Symantec and still get the same error.

Although it is a different browser, this also happened to another user with CD ( and myself on two updates ), but I don’t know what their set-up is.

Are the downloads from the same Server and it’s something that’s happening there or during the build ? Are some / several users getting the error, but do not come on the Forum and just do a manual download and update ?

Your site at https://icedragon.comodo.com/ claims the current version is 52.0.0.4 but when you download the file using the link provided you get 40.1.1.8. You might want to update the file on your server.

Known ancient(!) issue of Comodo’s websites…
Outdated information on IceDragons home pages.

Alleged CID v42.0.0.25 at web-site is actually v40.1.1.18

Hello friends. Does the Comodo IceDragon scanner have a 64 bit version? I couldnt find it :frowning:

There is no 64 bits version.

Thank you for this update. Please do keep Comodo IceDragon alive.

However, whenever I try to run this update, it goes for a while before crashing with a Dr.Watson. Something similar happened with the previous update.

The download page says XP compatible but I’m wondering.

The newest Comodo IceDragon setup file I have been able to run successfully on my XP system is v.49 from October, although what I have read suggests that the updates since then are supposed to be compatible with XP.
