Hello
I migrate from Win 7 64 bits to Win 10. Comodo said its has a problem. So I have uninstalled it and installed it again under Win 10. I did a fallback back because some applications were not working. When back with Win 7, Comodo firewall was not working. I tried to uninstall it but it failed as it was asking for a .msi file which was missing. I tried various tools to remove Comodo firewall, tried to clean the Registry but at every run of the Comodo firewall installer, it says it is an update and I need to remove the previous copy. I havec checked almost everywhere but I’m stuck.
Could some one give me a help ?
Hi jpch,
Use a program like 7-Zip or similar to extract the contents of the CIS installer of the installed version to a known location. http://www.7-zip.org
Navigate to the extracted folder and find the 64-bit msi file, right clicking the file gives you the required options.
The .msi files are found in the ‘Your chosen location\cispremium_installer\cis\download\installs\xml_binaries\cis’ folder.
