I’m a former AtGuard user… then SPF Pro (Sygate)… and now a happy CPF user. That, in itself, should address your curiosity I think.
I just pray that Symantec don’t try & buy Comodo! 3 times in a row would be just too much!
I agree with that! I have no use for Symantec products. Thanks for the reply. I am looking forward to this new release of CPF and will explore it to the fullest. I really like Atguard but it has become obsolete with the new windows versions and patches.
And I am very impressed with the CPF developers and the users on this forum!

Very sorry to say that we are postponing this release for tomorrow.
Updating CPF installation on 2k systems didn’t pass the QA. We have fixed the issue and updated setup is in testing.
We don’t expect to be delayed more than tomorrow.
So CPF should be live on 1st September, 2006 around 17:00GMT. We will make a statement about release tomorrow at same time.

Kail, I don’t think this big lizard here is so easy to be devoured by Symantec. Comodo is the second largest security certificate issuer after Verisign and that itself is quite an achievement. I think Melih has plans for Comodo in the future and is not about to sell off his baby. (I seriously hope my thoughts are true. Can you confirm them, Melih?) The previous two firewall developers are small and therefore easily bought over by Symantec. But then again, Comodo is not a public listed company yet, so things are hard to say. ???
