I recently downloaded COMODO Firewall onto my Windows XP. Just today I saw an error message stating that “The netowork firewall is not functioning properly”. I ran a diagnostics test through COMODO to figure out what the problem was. COMODO suggested that there were some problems upon installation of the software and proceeded to repair. A window popped up saying that not all the problems could be fixed and the error message of “The network firewall is not functioning properly” is still at the bottom of my COMODO Firewall window. Any ideas?
You will have to uninstall and re-install CIS, try using the uninstall script here: https://forums.comodo.com/install-setup-configuration-help-cis/cleanup-tool-for-comodo-internet-security-t36499.0.html
