Hi all,
could you help me to configure Comodo Free Firewall + Bitdefender Free (only Antivirus), for best performances and prevent interferentions between them too.

I also found another post where is reported to refer to the following thread, but doesn’t exist anymore:

I presume you just have to disable CF cloud lookup and you’ll be good

For CF Cloud lookup, are you mean File Rating Cloud Lookup? If not, could you please specify what I need to disable?
This morning I received a message into Kaspersky AV that Comodo Firewall should be removed to avoid conflict. Before Kaspersky I need to remove BitDefender, because it was incompatible with Comodo Firewall. Any other AV free suggestions that works correctly in combo with Comodo FW?

I use BD AV+ (paid version) with CFW 8012.

I had to uninstall CFW before installing BD AV+.

On your screenshot, everything is enabled on my laptop.

That’s what I was referring yes.

I only know Windows Defender that won’t brag about Comodo being installed.
If you want to use Kaspersky or BitDefender, install the AV prior Comodo.

There’s nothing really incompatible as far as know.

I had before 3 days ago, BitDefender AV Free + CIS Firewall Free, but I received from BitDefender to remove Comodo due interoperabilty issues. In fact, often my laptop was stuck. After removed AV and installed Kaspersky, everything works. But now I received again the same message from Kaspersky.
Is obviously that is also a commercial strategy :wink:

Read above. With BitDefender I had problems, it’s also reported into this forum in a past thread. With Kaspersky everything is better but I received this morning a message from it to remove Comodo for interoperability issues.
This is the reason why I asked which are the best settings in both of then to have the combo.

Which version are you using : W1?, CFW 8???

I’m using the last CIS version 12.3.4.8162
I need also disable the VirusScope or I can leave it Enabled? I suppose that it could be interfering with Kaspersky running processes analyzer, or not?

Hi codec99,

We do not recommend customers to use several security software simultaneously as it causes compatibility issues.
Kindly use the latest version of cis which have both antivirus and firewall.

I tried using Comodo Firewall with BDF and even that gave me issues, I think they are just not compatible.
