Hello, I have the latest version of Comodo Firewall. Latest updates for Win 10 and all my drivers are up to date. For some reason alerts in Comodo show up for a split second and dissappear so I cannot click anything or do anything It’s been like this for months and I’ve been loving Comodo for YEARS. This basically makes Comodo USELESS to me. I can’t find a fix ANYWHERE
This is a known issue with certain audio codecs see here for more info https://forums.comodo.com/format-verified-issue-reports-cis/alerts-disappear-instantly-due-to-audio-driver-codec-m1602-t110866.0.html. The temporary workaround is to disable “play sound when an alert is shown” CIS setting located under General settings > User interface.
I have the same issue in about 1 week. When I install a new program, and the HIPS ask me to allow “something”, the comodo alert window shows up for a half second and dissappears. Then I go to the HIPS log, and I see that the comodo disabled any access for this new program. It’s the same with the firewall alerts.
I switched off the sound for the popup window, reinstalled the whole comodo program, but the problem is still there.
I have Windows 10 x64 and Comodo Firewall Free edition. Is there any solution for this problem?
Sorry for my English, it’s not my primary language.
There is only the workaround as described by Futuretech:
Hopefully it will get fixed one day.

windows 10 version 1703 build 15063.483 with CIS 10.0.1.6258
Can you see if any memory dumps are located in C:\ProgramData\Comodo\CisDumps ? If so can you zip the most recent one and attach here thanks.
