  • Your Operating System Win-7, 32 bit
  • Security Software Installed:CIS, CTM 2.9
  • How you produced the problem: I several times cleaned the system, then restarted the comp. And computer cannot start - windows said: startup file is damaged and go reboot.
  • How you tried to resolve the problem - tried windows recovery options at reboot - no way
  • Any other Additional Information: I could restart only to CTM snapshot before the CFM (the snapshot with CFM was windows unbootable as well).

I hope bad tradition of buggy CSC will not be succeeded by CFM.

Hi,

Do you have logs enabled , or some backup files created after the clean? This would help us determine if this is a CFM problem.

I still have this unbootable CTM snapshots still. I can mount them and find necessary files if you say me what files.

same problem in mine too…

yet bugware. ProcessExplorer only proves it with open handles abandon wait states of hung threads, etc.
Hope someday someone will rewrite the engine itself not the useless GUI but recursive keys enumeration with appropriate open/close operations
