Comodo Dragon Version 50.14.22.465 released.

It is. It is introduced without notification and that upset various users.

It said something about erasing my tracks... Sounds like some sort of Shopping SpyWare - ZAP! NOTE: there is a PriceSuggestor.com so it still smells like SpyWare to me!
There is no web site with that name. Please stick with the facts.

If you’re not comfortable with the extension disable or uninstall it.

EastTexas. I merged your topic with the release topic.

Thanks for that, I didn’t realize.

I want to remove “IP/DNS Data” extension.

How do I remove it.

Et voila: Managing Extensions and Plug-ins

There isn’t anything about “IP/DNS Data” in this page.

“IP/DNS Data” is not to see in “chrome://extensions” or “chrome://flags” pages.

Tick “developer mode” in the upper right corner in “extensions”, should list it then.

Run Dragon with --show-component-extension-options to see all extensions in chrome://extensions.

Thanks, but it says “This extension is managed and can not be removed or can not be turned off.”

Hi Ege,

  1. Close Dragon.

  2. Remove the ‘ip_dns_leakage_detector’ folder and contents from the following location.
    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Comodo\Dragon\User Data\Components

  3. Remove or rename the ‘ip_dns_leakage_detector.crx’ file from the following location.
    64-bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Comodo\Dragon\extensions
    32-bit: C:\Program Files\COMODO\Dragon\extensions

  4. Open Dragon.

Kind regards.

Oh finally. Thank you very much. (:CLP)

It doesn’t show in developer mode. Odd…

Hi Eric,
That happens with component type extensions.
JoWa posted in reply 26 how to make them visible.

Kind regards.

Hello!
After you upgrade browser observed decline in overall performance and speed of opening web pages.
I discovered a new browser extension

Permission : read and change all your data on the websites you visit
Web Store : one user :o

Do you have this strange expansion?

Hello cis666. I have merged your topic with the release topic of Dragon 50 because there is no release topic for Chromodo 50 yet. The extension also comes with Dragon browser and is discussed in this topic. Hence my decision to merge your post with this topic.

Hi All,

Thank you all for the feedback.

Firstly I’d like to apologize for the missed Price Suggestor info in the release post. The post was prepared by a previous Product Manager who was in transition of leaving the company and this item was missed before it was posted by someone else (me actually).

I’ve made sure the Chromodo post has the Price Suggestor item.

The Price Suggestor plug-in is very powerful and useful for those who like it, I personally really like saving on products I’m already buying and it’s handy for me, however, we understand not all users will use this. These types of plug-ins are also some of the most popular in web stores. Not everyone is the same so for those who don’t want this plug-in, to remove it is as simple as right clicking on the icon in the toolbar and selecting “Remove from Comodo Dragon”/ “Remove from Chromodo”.

Again, thank you all for your continued support and valued feedback.

Is he SerkanB ?

Thank you

Yes.

Thank you for the confirmation.
He promised too much things about Comodo browsers.
Are your plans same? Do you have any roadmap for browsers?
What can we expect for the next releases? Please create targets :-TU

@Shane,

Please update the links on this site: https://browser.comodo.com/

It gives the old version (v.45)

Please put the links on this website which gives the always latest version.

Thanks
